Visit to the majestic temple monument of the Birth of Christ, erected in the foothills of the historic Mount of Saint Nicolas, where in historic Mount of Saint Nicolas, where in August 1877 the Russian soldiers and Bulgarian Home Guard volunteers joined forces and shed blood to win the Bulgarian liberation. A visit to the monument on Mount Stoletov. Lunch. Departure to the ethnographic complex of Etara. Etara is a recreation of a typical Bulgarian crafts settlement, offering an idea of the life-style around 150 years ago. The narrow cobbled streets, the spouts laid in stone, the rumble of watermills, the oil lights, the clock tower and the old houses recreate the spirit of Bulgarian Renaissance.
