Arriving at Perperikon – an archaeological complex, consisting of a megalithic sanctuary, holy city and a fortress.

Departing for Kardzhali – free time for lunch at the shores of the Kardzhali Dam Lake, one of the most appealing visitor attractions of the Ardino Region. The Lake forms beautiful bays and peninsulas, overlooked by steep cliffs, studded with queer rock formations. Visit to the Temple of the Virgin’s Assumption – safe keeping the little cross from Perperikon, in which were discovered pieces of the Holy Cross.

Visit to the museum, whose exhibition consists of three sections – Archaeology, Mineralogy and Ethnology. A separate floor is allocated to each section.
